CRP Transmission was founded in 1989 by Mr Hubert KUFEL. It developed expertise in the design and construction of trapezoidal and ball screw electric actuators.
Now managed by Christian JOSEPH, CRP Transmission designs, machines, assembles and tests its actuators in its Schiltigheim workshop. A range of electric screw rod actuators was added to the catalogue at the end of 2013, followed by heavy-load actuators (2023) and, in 2025, the manufacture of Leroy-Somer actuators under our VERELEC® brand.

CRP Transmission and MEDAN France are two legally separate French companies, under the same management, on the same production site in Schiltigheim and with a shared engineering office. Each has its own field: electric actuators for CRP Transmission, pneumatic cylinders for MEDAN France.
